Bed Bugs - Chin Cha & Fleas
Bed bug treatments require cooperation between Property Management, Tenants and the Pest Control Technician. A form detailing the cleanup and preparations that must be made before chemical treatment can begin will be provided and must be signed. The signed copies are retained by Zap Pest Control, LLC and the Landlords or Property Management. We recommend 3 treatments in most cases beginning with the fogging of the prepared premises with flushing agents, Insect Growth Regulators and residual pesticides. Adults are required to vacate the home for at least 7 hours after treatment and children under 12 or anyone with asthma, bronchitis or other respiratory problems should not return for 24 hours. Anyone can get bedbugs as they travel through human contact and currently can be found in ANY public area i.e. schools, restaurants, gyms, movie theaters or the homes of friends and relatives.
Roach Treatments
Roach treatments are by baiting, trapping, and in some cases spraying liquid and aerosol pesticides. The method will depend on extent of infestation and conditions within the domicile or business.
Exterior Perimeter Treatments
Perimeter treatments are recommended to prevent insect populations from increasing to the point that they begin to invade your home or business. Carpenter Ants, pavement ants, crickets, millipedes, spiders, earwigs, beetles, can be eliminated outside before they become a problem in the structure. Liquid or granular pesticides can be applied at your request.
Ants & Carpenter Ants
Ants are controlled thru the use of baits and sprays and may be prevented from entering your home by semi annual perimeter treatments applied around the outside of the domicile. Carpenter Ant treatments are guaranteed for one year and perimeter treatments are recommended thereafter as preventive treatment especially on wooded properties.
Termite Treatments
Eastern Subterranean Termite treatments vary according to to the type of construction used to build the structure and the type of soil beneath the structure. Sandy and loose soils are will accept liquid termiticides readily and are amenable to adjacent foundation trenching and rodding. Clay may not accept enough termiticide to get to the target areas and could require injection of the hollow block foundation. Structures that are not suitable for liquid chemical application can be surrounded and treated with solid baits placed at intervals in stations around the perimeter. Estimates vary widely due to all the variables involved. A one year annually renewable warrantee is provided with treatment.
Rodent Treatments
Rats and Mice are eliminated through a combination of physical traps, glue boards and rodenticides placed in tamper resistant bait boxes. Repairs to the structure to eliminate access may be needed.
Animal Trapping
Squirrels, Raccoons, Gophers, Skunks and other animal pests are caught with kindness traps.
